Project Dependencies

This tab is used to view, create and remove project dependencies. It contains the list of all loaded projects with their properties and a toolbar (see the table below). To open the tab, use the Show/Hide button The Show/Hide button on the ribbon. The project list can be sorted by any column; the displayed project settings are the same as in the Projects View.

If there is a dependency between projects, there will be an arrow sign next to the parent project; click the arrow to view the dependency settings. You can edit the settings directly in the table. Cells with white background can be edited; cells with gray background are locked.

Note: Any project that is part of a Mutually Exclusive Group cannot be part of a dependency. If you attempt to add a dependency for a project that is part of a MEG, a dialog will appear asking you to confirm whether you wish to proceed with the change. If you click Yes, the dependency will be created and that project will be removed from the MEG. For more information, see Mutually Exclusive Groups.

For instructions on how to create a new dependency, see Create a project dependency.
